Organic Plant Care LLC cares for historic trees at Lamington Presbyterian Church

Organic Plant Care LLC was recently chosen to care for the historic trees at Lamington Presbyterian Church.  These Native Red Maples have likely flanked the entry to the church since for more than 100 years.  Historic shade trees like these should evaluated by a professional arborist periodically to ensure maintenance of healthy root systems and sound structural integrity.

OPC’s experienced climbers were in the uppermost canopy sharing a “bird’s-eye” view of the church’s steeple and distant equine pastures while pruning out dead and decayed limbs to help maintain the health of these stately trees.  In addition to structural pruning, Organic Plant Care LLC deep root fertilized the trees with a custom blend of organic ingredients that will stimulate new feeder root growth and help improve overall plant vigor.  Soil injection of compost tea, fish hydrolysate, liquid seaweed, humates and mycorrhizae fungi provides nutrients directly to the trees’ root zone, as well as, increases and nourishes the beneficial soil microorganisms that support these landmark trees.

It is a real privilege to be able to care for these Maples!
