OPC Earns TCIA Accreditation

On December 11, 2017, Organic Plant Care, LLC earned Accreditation from the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).

At this time there are only 7 other Accredited companies in New Jersey, and just over 450 in the whole country.

Being part of this elite group of professional tree care companies is both an honor and an ongoing responsibility (it requires periodic recertification to ensure that all criteria are continuously met). Getting here took a lot of hard work and we’re proud of everyone on the OPC team who gave their best to make it happen.

Why Hire a TCIA Accredited Tree Service Company?

TCIA Accredited companies are the source for expert, professional tree service. Look for TCIA’s Accreditation logo to ensure you’re getting the best service possible if you’re a homeowner searching for quality tree service in your area.

TCIA Accredited companies are required to meet stringent criteria for professionalism, employee training, state and federal safety regulations, business ethics and consumer satisfaction.

All TCIA Accredited companies have undergone a comprehensive on-site audit of professional and business practices, aimed at safeguarding consumers.

TCIA Accreditation at a Glance

Many homeowners research tree services on Angie’s List, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and Yelp before signing a contract. But that only gives part of the story.

Check out the chart below to learn how thorough the TCIA Accreditation program is, and why it’s recognized as the gold standard in the tree care industry. Choosing an Accredited company provides far more protection for you so you can be comfortable knowing that the company you hire will do the job properly and safely.

Accredited Tree Care Companies Can Save You Money

It may not be the first thing you think about, but working with a TCIA Accreditated tree service often means that you save money in the long run. While you may pay more upfront to hire a fully-insured, certified, licensed and accredited company, it pays off over time.

Because all tree work is done according to professional standards by highly-trained employees, your trees will be healthier. Instead of redoing poor work over and over, it’s done correctly the first time. Improper practices, such as tree topping or pruning off too much at once or lack of training, leading to failure to properly diagnosis pest or disease problems, will decrease the beauty, longevity, and health of your trees. And a lack of proper insurance and licenses puts you and your property at risk.

Hiring a TCIA Accredited tree company means these problems are avoided. In the end, you save time, energy, and money managing your trees, and get to enjoy their beauty without worrying whether or not they’re properly cared for.
